New Lab Start-Up Program Logo Concept

As part of the application process at Takara Bio, I was asked to design three assets for their New Lab Start-Up Program: an 8.5×11″ poster, a social asset with animation, and a logo treatment for the program. The poster and motion graphic for social can be seen here.
For this concept, I included horizontal and stacked versions, as well as black and white versions that would be more visible on muddy backgrounds, or on top of Takara Bio blue. There is also a logomark that can be used in select contexts, such as an avatar.
